While hunting for a perfect wedding venue, you finalise one till you fall in love with the beauty of the place. Besides this, there are a lot of things that needs to be kept in mind while looking for wedding venues.

Requirement
While looking for the ideal venue, the foremost thing to be considered is the requirement. You have to keep a record of the number of guests you are inviting. After counting the number of guests, you need to work out on your finances. After incorporating the number of guests with the finances, you now have to decide whether or not you want to use the same venue for your wedding as well as reception or not.

Facilities
The next step in the process of finalising wedding ceremony venues is to look for the facilities offered by the venue. Most venues offer you with an on- site event planner that can assist you with your wedding arrangements.
Apart from this, you can also make all arrangements personally. But in order to perform the task yourself, you need to analyse each and every amenity a place offers you.

Accommodation
Another thing that has to be considered before approving a venue is to analyse whether the facilities are big enough in order to accommodate your guests easily or not?
For instance- if you have sent the total number of invites to 100 guests, count approximately half of them, as in most cases not more than half guests will turn up for the event.

This is the best way to give you an idea on how suitable a venue will be for housing your guests. Don’t forget to check whether or not you are been provided with the facility of furniture, else you need to rent it.

Décor
Your decoration depends a lot on your budget. In case you are opting for you need to spend a lot on flowers, curtains and other decoration in order to make you wedding luxurious.

There are some clubs or halls that will not allow you to utilise a large number of candles or open flames. Therefore it is always better to enquire in advance about the scope of permissible decoration on the venue before finalising it.

Catering
Food is considered as one of the most important as well as critical factors of the wedding. Almost all places have their in- house caterers, therefore they do not allow outside caterers to operate.
But in case you have a personal favourite caterer whom you want to indulge in your wedding, you will have to book a venue accordingly.

The above can surely play a vital role in selecting the most apt venue for your event. But before agreeing on a wedding place, determine the payment schedules including the hidden costs and overtime charges properly.
Besides this, also know about the cancellation policies before signing a deal.
