Also keep in mind that most of these survey networks require you to earn a set minimum amount before payment is issued. With work not being regular, it may take a while to reach that payout limit.
There are also a number of companies out there promising paid surveys, yet the offers they send only offer to enter you into a competition entry as remuneration for the work you did. There is not much you can do about this, except filter these emails into the junk folder and forget about it.
Take into account that you will have to wait for enough work, wait to reach minimum payout level, and then wait for your check. On top of that you will have to pay for a list of companies doing online surveys, or spend some time searching the internet. However, if you can sustain yourself long enough to overcome these challenges, the results may very well be worth it in the end. Once you have a number of memberships running, the earnings will start compounding, eventually making it worth your while.
