Fallkniven Knives: An Unknown Knife Maker Who Creates Top-Of-The-Line Survival Knives

Handle options are bone, Cocobolo, and Zytel. Also available are a wide array of different kinds of locking mechanisms.
• Their Hunting and Fishing Knives comprise of the WM, the H1, the F1 and F2. The WM is a small-game blade that is also popular among trekkers and campers. The H1, their flagship hunting blade, is a larger big game hunting blade that features no finger guard. Cutting edges are composed of VG10 or 3G steel, while handles are Thermorun or Zytel. The F1 was Fallkniven's debut tool and is for use as a bushcraft knife, while the F2 mode, with its elongated slim blade, is targeted as more of an angler's knife.
• Survival and Bushcraft Knives consist of the S1, the A1 and the A2. They are outdoor blades that are made with lengthier, thicker blades. These knives are usually 1-2mm thicker than the knives mentioned previously, at least 30 millimeters lengthier and a few points "softer" on the Rockwell Hardness measurement. That makes these blades ideal for serious bushwhacking. The steel in these blades is VG-10. The grip on the S1 is Thermorun while the A1/A2 is Zytel.
• Military Knives are the G1 and the Model MC1. The G1 is a compact, covert knife possessing a matte blade, while the MC1 is a big knife for mine clearing. The two are made of VG-10 steel hardened to 59 on the Rockwell Hardness scale. The G1 has a Thermorun grip while the MC1 has a Kraton one.
• While Fallkniven does not specialize in Cook's Knives, kitchen knives can surely be designed with experience gained during producing outdoor knives. The K1 Chef's blade is 8 inches long, a standard size, while the K2 is a big Japanese-style Santoku. VG-10 steel, hardened to 59 HRC, is used to make both of them. They feature Thermorun handles that rarely slip.
• The Northern Light knife from Fallkniven is quite sturdy, as it is meant difficult tasks outdoors. The blades are manufactured from coated VG-10 59HRC steel, and may be either small (10 cm in length and 5 mm in thickness) or large (25 cm in length by 7 mm in thickness). The handles of these blades are composed of aluminum and leather, and they're endowed with a full bolster and finger shield. Like the smallest of the Northern Light models, the special-edition NL5cx is undersized, but its steel blade is a Cowry X alloy in a Damascus coloration, measuring 64 HRC.
