There are different types of wood. Some types of wood are very sensitive to water while others are resistant to even moisture. Sometimes the upper surface of the wooden plank is coated throughout with sealant and color. This is Acrylic -impregnated wood flooring. This type of wooden flooring is very had and highly resistant to scratches and moisture. The strength of the wooden flooring also depends on the traffic. The more the traffic more is the wear and tear of the flooring. The strength of the wooden flooring depends on the care that you take. Moisture and heat are one of the greatest enemies of wooden flooring. Take care that the possibilities of scratches are the least. 3 Environmental Friendly: Solid Wood Flooring is totally wooden and natural. When we mean being environmentally friendly it means that the wooden flooring is not at the cost of destroying the forests. When we talk about solid wood flooring that is environmentally friendly it means that the wooden flooring is made from easily renewable resources such as bamboo, cork and lyptus.
