Did you know… The earth began as a whirling cloud of gas, out of which was created a dense dust bowl. This contracted into a white-hot, molten ball. Gradually, over eons, a thin layer of this molten material and magma cooled into a crust – the earth’s mantle. In comparison, the crust is relatively about as thick as the skin on an apple. Inside that crust the hot, rich, molten magma continues to boil and bubble and forming new crystals. Carrying a chemical imprint for evolution, some of these materials have grown in chambers deep underground. Others have been subjected to great pressure and transformation. Many have been laid down in layers, some dripped into being. The method of formation affects their appearance, energetic properties, and the way they function. (The Encyclopedia of Crystals) Before I designed beaded jewelry, I was a dental hygienist with a small bead and rock collection. As this “collection” grew my love for beads grew along with strong desire to create beaded jewelry. I enrolled in a bead class and began my journey designing handcrafted beaded jewelry. With my background, knowledge, and great passion for beads; this was a perfect solution for me and my collection. After designing many necklaces, bracelets, and earrings; I began to sell my handcrafted beaded jewelry at many local craft fairs. Ten years later my bead collection is full as I continue to create handcrafted beaded jewelry. My necklaces, bracelets, and earrings are all original designs. I travel a great deal to find quality beads that are natural crystals, minerals, and gemstones. I also hunt for unique, rare, and unusual findings. My pendants and sterling silver beads come from around the world. Some of the products that are part of my collection include hand-made glass beads, Czech glass, pewter findings, Swarousky crystals, and anything that excites me and will enhance my jewelry line, “Sophisticated Bead”. Any product we sell always includes a detailed description of our necklaces, earrings and bracelets. All photos are realistic and not enhanced. Where you heard about us :*
