Bowlers are often compared (unfairly, in my opinion) to golfers in terms of their lack of fashion sense. While I could understand how some people may not be fond of polyester bowling shirts, I do not think they are quite as bad as some of the ugly clothes we have seen on the golf course. At least bowlers do not wear plaid pants that look like they were picked out by a color-blind grandmother! Well, because I'm a bowler too, I admit to being a bit biased here - particularly because I've been responsible of ordering my team's bowling shirts for the past four years. I always try to buy something different each year, and I make sure that I purchase classic designs that would look nice both on and off the lanes. Plus, I have tried to order my bowling shirts from different online stores so I can get a better idea of which websites provide the best quality products at the lowest prices. In the past few years, I've in fact found some great apparel websites, and have ordered some truly outstanding products as a result. In reviewing my purchase history, I noticed that these websites have several common denominators. First of all, they offer an extensive variety of bowling shirts in many different colors and styles, including the retro designs that are so in style right now. Second, the websites offer a large variety of customization options for names and logos. A bowling shirt just wouldn't be the same if my name was not embroidered across the chest and a nice team logo on the back! And finally, all of the websites that I bought from give competitive costing on their merchandises and reliable shipping. Plus, because wearing a bowling shirt to school or casual events has become popular in recent years, manufacturers are going out of their way to make great new designs. This is good news for bowlers, as it means that even more stores will begin to stock these items -- and in larger quantities, too. It is then easier for me to find the cool styles that players want, and also contributes to keep prices down. I believe that the type of bowling shirt I wear has absolutely no impact on my performance, but that doesn't mean I'll just settle for any old shirt I can find at the thrift store. As silly as it sounds, I've learned that a great bowling shirt really enhances team camaraderie, and that actually does affect our play!
