The market and the insiders are aware of what margins the other one is working upon. Buyer can persuade the seller in various ways to dole out discounts. It largely depends upon the individual persuasive skills but one can take the help of the following tips also: 1: The unexhausted stock of the previous years can be a better option to procure at the lower prices. This may provide the retailer with enough margin cushions to make a profitable preposition. 2: Procurement of the goods from a different part of the region at a low price or discounted price, and selling it at a region far away in fact can be an option where the margins could be awarding. 3: The factory outlets of the manufacturers which put on sale the defected pieces as the Second’s sale, can be a better option for buying the goods at dirt cheap prices and resell them with slight modification to the newer market segments. These goods are turned down by the quality assurance people/department of the manufacturing unit hence have to be done away with, the selling of these provides the manufacturer to atleast have something out of a defected piece also, so this becomes a win-win situation for both parties.
