Proper Names Translated into Russian.
It is sometimes claimed that Russian texts are made from English texts in such a way that the proper names in most cases are not translated but transliterated. It may even be seen in real life. And yet, there are some proper namesthat seem to violate this rule of thumb. An example are expressions thatare partially made of a proper name and the other part of it are regular words.
